The Learning Outcomes present a stable reference for the principle themes offered in every chapter. The Key Terms, nevertheless, are less developed and appear more like an after thought. The text is organized thematically, however there may be room for chronology to play a bigger role more helpful hints, maybe in individual topics/chapters or with an appendix that can trace back to image examples throughout the textbook. The text covers a broad array of art actions both geographically, and temporally, although I suppose the non-Western alternatives are a bit slim.
