(City of Encinitas) The city’s arts commissioners have recommended five sculptures, ranging from a cellphone-reading figure to green whimsical creatures, for temporary public display at popular sites around town. After much debate Monday, March 4, the commissioners also agreed to recommend that one sculpture, which wasn’t picked for those five sites, be displayed on a temporary basis at the soon-to-open Pacific View Arts Center.
